Dependencies are still under consideration, but as we mentioned earlier this summer, we have some other larger initiatives this year that are taking priority. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment. Task dependencies is still something that is under consideration. Historically, we've veered away from the typical Microsoft Project-type functionality because we feel that there's too much time managing dates and data - so we've opted for a more simple approach (tasks and subtasks). However, we understand that some folks do want dependencies. At the moment, we are focused on releasing our API, however, this is one of the items that is on the top of our list still. Thanks.
Task dependencies is something we're strongly considering. However, at the moment we are focused on some other big things. There's no immediately decision on this, but again, it's something we're very strongly considering for the near future.
Did you see our getting started video? http://feedback.projecturf.com/knowledgebase/articles/258801-getting-started-video-
Does that help? Thanks.
I think you mean add a button instead of the enter key (you wrote enter instead of button - so we changed the title for you). The reasoning here is that using enter is much faster and more efficient than using a button. If we use a button, you have to type, then move to your mouse to go click the button. By hitting enter instead, you can enter multiple tasks very quickly. Also, did you know that you can hold Shift+Enter to go to another line?
I simply changed the name of this suggestion to reflect what you are suggesting. Thanks!
You can add personal events and tasks by using the My Calendar or My Tasks section on the top left! Here's more info: http://feedback.projecturf.com/knowledgebase/articles/258694-my-calendar
In terms of filtering the All Projects Calendar, I understand now. I think we should close this idea and create a new one based on that. I will do that and send you the link to vote for it. Thanks.
We're not sure what you mean here, could you give us some more details? Thanks!
Could you explain this a little more and give us an idea of what you mean? Tickets are tracked on the dashboard and in the tickets section. They are visible in the All Projects section if you have multiple projects as well. Perhaps these articles will help?
The idea for invoices in Projecturf is not dead. However, we're in the midst of some big things for later this year which are taking priority. We hope to integrate invoicing soon after. Thanks!
@Marc we're hoping in January. We're working on it but also working on some major enhancements with speed, performance, and actions. As soon as those are released this month, we'll be focusing on invoicing. So, the answer is soon :)
Thanks Marc, we're working on this actually.
The first phase of the API has been released for the tasks section. This includes read / write access and all the documentation is located here:
We do have announcements on the dashboard page for every project that managers can use.
You should be able to accomplish this by posting a new "Note" on the dashboard page next to the Project Brief.
Could we get clarification on this one; we don't fully understand this request. We have a global calendar of all projects that you can subscribe to and when you create an event, you click the "check attendee availability" button to make sure that time slot is open for all attendees across all projects.
You can do 2 things here. First, you can click "check availability" when creating an event to see if you have that time slot booked on any other project. Also, you can see all projects on the global calendar. Go to your main Projects page and then click the calendar icon to see events across all projects. Does that solve your issues?
The reports will give you insight into what people are working on and the days they span, but there are no plans at this time to show the number of hours available by person each day.
Our Gantt Chart should be what you're looking for. We've been working on it for a while now. It's almost ready. It should be out in a few weeks.
