Once you have clicked the reports icon, select the Task Status Report from the filter drop down on the top left above the tasks as shown here:
The Task Status Report shows all the tasks and subtasks and the current status of each one, such as late or upcoming. By using this report, you can see a list of every task, who's responsible, when it's due, the percent complete, and the status. The percent complete is either 0% or 100%, unless it has subtasks. If the task has subtasks, then the percent complete is based off of the number of subtasks that have been completed. This way you can quickly see how far along the project is based on the tasks that have been completed and also see what's remaining on everyone's schedule. Here is a simple example:
At the bottom of the report, you get a percent complete for the entire project based on a specific date and time of the report as shown below. It also includes quick stats of all the tasks for the project.
All Projects ViewThe Task Status Report is accessible from both the project Tasks section and from the All Project - Tasks section. The All Project view shows a summary of the number of tasks that are late, due today, etc. with all your projects and a percent complete for each one. It also provides a total percent complete for all projects in the system.
The report can be filtered to see a specific time frame if the tasks have due dates or you can filter it to show tasks from certain people. The people filter is only available at the project level since the All Projects view is a summary view and therefore not broken down to the task level.
Access / Permissions
All users have access to the Task Status report. However, the report will only show data based on the projects and tasks the user has available to see based on their permissions.
