This is getting ridiculous, Dave. It was requested almost FOUR years ago. At this point, it is really hard to give your development staff credit when it comes to time management, the very product you sell a solution for. Development sure happens at a slow pace. Even the small stuff seems to take a long time.

At this point, we all need a date and then for your developer(s) to dig in and get it done. No more diversionary tactics, no more we're working on it. Just get it done.

This thread is three years old. Your last update was three months ago. We kept our account waiting for this feature since January of this year with promise after promise of it coming with the version 4 release. That has come and gone.

How's the progress on the API coming? The ability to sync and time tasks and sub tasks from the desktop would be a real plus.

Are you guys even still working on this? It seems like things have been extremely uneventful for Projecturf the last 6 months or so... and the lack of progress updates is a bit alarming.

Exporting all tickets since last export, or exporting all tickets for a certain date would be great in the API. It would be great to be able to update external apps with the text from a ticket (and all associated notes, etc.) without having to open the ticket to copy/paste.

Additionally, it'd be nice to be able to update/close tickets via the API, so we can add hooks to our SVN system such that checking in a change with the ticket number in it will trigger the ticket to be closed or updated in some manner.

Can someone from the projecturf team update us with an ETA. This month, this year, in 100 Years?

It would be great to be able to integrate Github and Beanstalk. As an example in basecamp you can tie in Beanstalk commit info into message threads.

Please create an API at the end of the year that will allow users to integrate with other apps

If you integrate with QB, I can almost guarantee you will become the industry leader in project management software. . . If you don't, good luck keeping up with those companies that do.

1+ This tool would be way more valuable to us if we could integrate it to quickbooks for true costing tracking. Would love to be able to map projects to jobs in QB and port over time data.

ProofHQ is a must. This is what we are waiting for to "pull the trigger".
We are currently using, which is great.

Also for us, this is a bit of a deal breaker. Especially because pretty much any other app has an API nowadays. :p

We want to setup a form where client can submit their tickets right into the app. Is there any news on when this feature becomes available? :-)

Any updates or an ETA on this? We've got plenty of ideas, but ideas only go so far without an API ;-)

Mostly, we would want to use this for generating custom reports. Projecturf is still pretty inadequate when it comes to trying to get a birds-eye-view of project-independant data. For example, exemption reports that reveal projects that haven't had time logged for a given period, or projects that are over-budget or almost over-budget (or just a simple cost-budget report for all projects).
